Pieris japonica or ‘Lily of the Valley’ is a fantastic accent plant for the garden.

They have small green leaves and depending on the variety, drooping clusters of white, pink, or red fragrant flowers in spring. The new growth can be from bronze to bright red before turning green in summer. They come in a wide range of sizes and are also suitable for small or medium-sized evergreen hedges.
